The contents present in the Holy Prahalada Suprabhatham are as follows:-

Suprabadam would be sung in order to awaken the god or any of his forms, during the early morning time, by the way of praising him through wonderful songs. Similar to the Venkatesa Suprabadam, Sri Prahalada Suprabhatham is also considered as very famous, especially among the Madhwas.

Let us sing the following wonderful songs regularly during the early morning time, in order to get the grace of Sri Prahalada.

O!The great Bhakta Prahalada, the marvellous son of Kayadu! The Early morning sun has already arisen on the skies. Oh! The best of the child (Prahalada)! Please wake up, since you have to perform the divine daily rituals.

O Prahalada! Great King of the entire earth, you are the pious person among the demons, please get up earlyin order to start doing your regular prayers on Lord Vishnu.

Awake! Awake! O My Dear Bala Prahalada! You are the divine son of Lord Vishnu, and you have got the privilege to be carried by Lord Garuda itself to any of the divine worlds, whenever and wherever you requires. Please get up soon!

Oh Prahalada, My beautiful child! You reside in the heart of Lord Maha Vishnu; Oh!You are the celestial beauty-one that captures the attention of the Mortals and Immortals, You are the one who has surrendered at the lotus feet of Lord Hari, O my dear and the best devotee of Lord Vishnu, I offer my early morning Salutations to you.

O My Lovely child Prahalada! A fine morning to you, whose eyes are like the rose petals and the bright face of the sun; even Indra, Yama and Agni pay their respects to you. The ocean of mercy! You are very dear to your devotees!

O resident of Vaikunta! You have been honoured even by the holy rishis (saptharshis), and you contain more powers than that of the Devendra, You have been praised as “AKILANDA KOTI BRAHMANDA NAYAKA(UNIVERSAL GOD)”, by Deva Rishi Narada itself. Please get up from your bed, to worship your beloved god Vishnu Bhagavan.

All the deities like Brahma, Shiva, Muruga, Surya and others are praising your Vishnu Bhakti, you contain knowledge equivalent to Guru Brihaspati. O my Dear Boy Prahalada! May this morning be glorious to you!

O Prahaladawho dwells in one of the wonderful palaces of Vaikunta! Your lips are always chanting the glories of Lord Hari for several millions of years. The morning breeze is blowing very smoothly with great fragrances and it greets you.We wish a very good morning to you.

O Prahalada! The sweet Jaggery Payasam is ready along with your favourite sweets.Please get up soon from your bed, to eat these mouth- watering dishes. We pray for a very good morning to you.

With his melodious musical instruments Sage Narada is singing your wonderful bhakti on Lord Vishnu, and even the celestial Gandharvas and the divine Apsaras (mother goddesses) are praising about your Vishnu Bhakti by playing their wonderful Yazh instrument.

O my great Prahalada due to your staunch bhakti on Lord Vishnu, you have become part and parcel of Lord Vishnu. The bees which sat on the lotus flowers also praise you, and they are eagerly waiting in order to get your Divine glimpse on this early morning.

O my sweet heart Prahalada! For us, you look like the little Rama and Krishna. The sages and the Divine Gurus like Guru Brihaspati and Sri Shukra Bhagavan are also waiting to see your attractive face, and they want to bless you, and even the divine cow Kamadhenu is waiting in front of you by raising the voice, “MAA”, in order to get your divine glimpse. Please wake up, and let this morning be glorious to you!

The Yaksheshwar avatar was taken by Lord Shiva in order to remove the pride and ego of the Devas after they consumed the divine nectar, Amrit after churning the divine ocean, Parkadal. After the consumption of the divine nectar, the Devas were become very healthier and also attained great powers, and hence, they began to think, that they are superior than, Lord Shiva.
