Some of the unknown facts about the great Prahalada are as follows:-
1. Due to his staunch devotion on Lord Vishnu, Prahalada had got the boon of having the divine vision of Lord Vishnu at any time as per his wish.
2. Once Prahalada had lost his kingdom to his cousin Andaga, but after some time, he fought with Andaga, drove him out, and again become the king for his kingdom.
3. During the Satya Yuga, Prahalada had ruled over almost the entire earth, he was a kind hearted demon king, who looked like a Demi god, and ruled his kingdom in a remarkable manner.
4. Prahalada has appointed his three brothers as ministers, and he used to discuss with them about the political matters, before taking any new decision.
5. After the death of his father Hiranyakasipu, Prahalada had asked his mother Kayadu to concentrate her entire attention on worshipping Lord Vishnu.
6. Though Prahalada was a sincere devotee of Lord Vishnu, but he used to perform puja to Lord Shiva also at his palace, and his Kula Devi is believed to be a form of Ma Shakti Devi.
7. Prahalada lived for several million years in the earth, and he also conquered the IndraLoka and ruled it for some time, but as per the wishes of Lord Vishnu, he and his grandson Mahabali went permanently to the nether world, the SutalaLoka, one of the underworlds.
8. Prahalada’s wife name was Devi and apart from her, he didn’t marry anyone, and also, he didn’t keep affair with any other woman, since he is one of the finest Vishnu Bhagavata.
9. Prahalada had given a golden rule similar to Lord Rama, and during his rule, no one in his kingdom had suffered from hunger, diseases and from abnormal deaths.
10. Prahalada highly respected the learned scholars, performed several Yagnas and constructed many temples for Lord Vishnu.
11. Prahalada was a generous king, who had gifted lot of valuables to the poor and the needy.
12. During his childhood, Prahalada used to construct the idols of Lord Vishnu using mud, and in this noble task, his friends were also joined.
Once, if we suffer at least from some sort of small problems in our everyday life, then only we would remember the god, or otherwise we would forget about him totally. When Lord Krishna was ready to grant the boon, Ma Kunti has asked Krishna to give some small problems as a boon from him, and she has asked like that, in order to remember Lord Krishna forever in her lifetime.
