Ekadashi Vrat is the most auspicious austerity dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Ekadashi is observed on eleventh day of every fortnight of the Hindu month (Shukla Paksha & Krishna Paksha). Each Ekadashi has specific significance and importance as per the ancient scriptures.
Some Ekadashi vratas are differed by a day for Smartha, Vaishnava and Gauna sect of Hindus. Smarta people observe Ekadashi on the day during which Ekadasi starts and Vaishnava and Gauna sect of people observe it on the next day.
As ‘Ekadashi’ or the eleventh day of any month is stated to be a special day for worship of Vishnu, observance of of ‘Upavas’ (Fasting), Puja and Vrata are stated to be of significance to qualify for the nullification of sins and a stepping stone for attaining ‘Vaikuntha’. In fact the advantage of performing Vrata in full faith and devotion is stated to reap the fruits of Ashwamedha Yagna and Rajasuya Yagna, besides avoiding ‘Yama Darshana’ or the need for the visits of hell.
With no exaggeration,observance the Ekadasha Vrata is said to be superior than the bathings in the Sacred Rivers/ Kshetras like Ganga, Kashi, Pushkar, Kukukshetra, Narmada, Devika, Yamuna, Chandrabhaga etc. Rukmanga Katha mentions all the merits of Ekadashi Vrat.

I want to know trisprasha ekadashi in 2020. when it will come..
please, these are deities, not idols! Idols are images which are imagined, yet deities are forms Krishna himself describes according to scripture. Just as the murti or form of fire can be a flame, Krishna can accept the form of deity in wood, marble etc, to enable us to see him with our material vision. Spiritual practice will purify our material senses so that our relationship with Krishna, and the deity, deepens. If we think of the deity as an idol (or not really a manifestation of Krishna’s spiritual energy), Krishna will cease his interaction with us in this form, and we will indeed be engaging in idol worship.

Muze ap yeh btaeye ki ekadashi vrat ke udyapan mai kya-kya samagri chaye hoti hai.
Aur maine yeh vrat 2009 ki nirjara ekadashi ko start kiye the. Ab mai ekadashi ke vrat ka 2010 Dec. ko udyapan karma chati hu.
Kya yeh sahi samay hai.
