Budh Ashtami is a vrata dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Ashtami which falls on Budhvar (Wednesday) is observed as Budhashtami. In June 2012, Budhashtami date is June 27. It is Shukla Paksha Ashtami in Ashad Month as per all Hindu calendars of North India, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
It falls in Aani Masam and Midhunam month as per Tamil and Malayalam calendars respectively.
Other Budh Ashtami vrata dates in 2012 will be in July and November.
