We must always realize about the great sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Tirupur Kumaran, and V.O.Chidambaranar and also about our brave queens like Jhansi Rani, Ahalya Bai and Rani Chenamma who has put lot of efforts for the welfare of our Hindu religion.
When someone comments about our beloved Lord Krishna by mentioning him as a rapist, we used to maintain strict silence, when someone makes bad remarks about our loving mother Ma Draupati, even then we would consider it just like a joke, when our divine parent, Lord Brahma is being criticised by some people for having four heads, and even if we take that issue also to be a funny matter, then in future, our dear Hindu enemies might even comment badly about our own biological mothers and sisters!
Though some Hindus are putting lot of pressure to uplift our Holy Hinduism and to protect it from Hindu enemies, yet, all of us have to strongly condemn and must raise our voice, when someone speak badly about our Hindu religion or about our Hindu deities. We must understand one thing that the comforts and luxuries which we enjoy now, would be lost by us on some other day, especially during the time of our death. Our life is not permanent! We would have to definitely suffer for our bad acts, and if we simply pass our life, without doing any goodness for our own mother religion, then that is also considered to be a sinful act before the eyes of the god, and for that, we would surely suffer during the time of our death, and also we would suffer a lot in our forthcoming births also!
Both Lord Surya and Chandra contain equivalent powers, and they are also classified as planets. While Lord Surya gives light during day time, Lord Chandra gives light during night time (Except during Amavasya Days (No Moon days)). Though there is no main temple dedicated for Lord Chandra, there are few temples dedicated for Lord Surya Deva. Both of them are subject to the eclipse also called as Solar and Lunar eclipse. In the Devi Mahatmya Purana, Lord Chandra and Surya are considered as the two eyes of our Ma Shakti Devi.
Surya and Chandra contain good understanding with each other, since they are considered as very ancient gods. Due to the severe heat prevails at the Surya Mandala, no one could visit that place, but few astronauts have already visited the Chandra Mandala, and they have also laid down their country flag on to the Holy abode of Lord Chandra. But for visiting the Chandra Mandala huge expenses would incur and also it is be considered to be a difficult voyage.
We would have read in the Ramayana, that during his childhood, Lord Hanuman tried to catch the sun by considering it as a ripened fruit. But we could never imagine such kind of “SUPER HERO” activities, since we have got only limited powers. Lord Chandra is considered to be a comfortable deity, and he is also considered to be the god of love, similar to Lord Manmada. Those who have the influence of Chandra Dosha, the ill-effects of Lord Chandra, need to sincerely worship the moon god, especially during Mondays, since Mondays are considered as a favourable day for Lord Chandra Bhagavan.
While Lord Surya is considered to be an aspect of Lord Vishnu, since Surya is most famously called as “SRI SURYA NARAYANAN”, Lord Chandra is considered to be an aspect of Lord Shiva, since it is believed that Lord Shiva still holds the moon god on his head, and Chandra is also called as “SOMA”, and there is a separate shrine dedicated for Lord Chandra in Somangalam Shiva Temple, and also in Thingalur Shiva Temple.
Whatever may be, these two marvellous gods contain great powers, and they are classified as “IMMORTALS”, even during the time of deluge, they would function briskly, and there is no end for them.
Hence let us worship these two celestial gods forever in our life, and let us be blessed.
Ma Lakshmi and Saraswati are considered to be the chief Divine Attendants of Ma Shakti Devi and these details are mentioned in the Devi Bhagavatha Purana also called as Devi Mahatmya. Ma Lalitha Tripura Sundari, a form of Ma Shakti Devi is served by her Divine Attendants in a pleasing manner. While Ma Lakshmi sings wonderful songs on Ma Shakti Devi, it was Ma Saraswati who praises her by playing her popular musical instrument Veena. In fact, both of these two goddesses, Ma Lakshmi and Ma Saraswati are considered to be the powerful aspects of Ma Shakti Devi only.
