Significance of God

Brahma Vishnu Shiva

Brahma Vishnu Shiva

Rich Shiva and Vishnu devotees must take this matter into consideration, and whenever possible, they must find the ways to install some new shrines for the popular Bhagavathas, in order to please both Lord Shiva and Vishnu. We must also keep one thing in our mind, that is, “BHAGAVATHAS ARE ALWAYS GREATER THAN THAT OF BHAGAVAN WITH REGARD TO THEIR DEVOTION”, they cannot be separated from Bhagavan, and we must never forget to sanctify them in our day to day life.

Lord Brahma is a soft and a gentle god who didn’t keep any weapons on his hands. Even when any demon comes to fight with him, he would either disappear or otherwise he would seek shelter under his father Lord Vishnu. Lord Brahma contains only Vedas, Japamala and Kamandala in his hands, and he is considered to be a merciful god than that of any other deities. Even when the demons Madhu and Kaitabha were stolen the Holy Vedas from the hands of Lord Brahma, it was Lord Vishnu, who destroyed the two demons from his weapons, restored the Vedas and gave it back to Lord Brahma by taking the Hayagriva Avatar, the Horse headed Vishnu Avatar.

Though Lord Brahma is capable to create his own weapons, but, however, he didn’t like to keep weapons on his hand. Likewise, his consort, Ma Saraswati also didn’t keep any weapons on her hands. Once when Lord Indra suggested Lord Brahma to keep some weapons on his hands, but Brahma rejected his proposal. But, however, even without possessing any weapons, Lord Brahma is capable to destroy the evil forces out of his own spiritual powers. But, sometimes during the time of giving curse, by chanting some Vedic Mantras, he used to sprinkle the holy water from his Kamandala on to those persons. Once he has cursed his divine attendant Sri Shanku Karna for a noble cause. Lord Brahma also cursed Ravana when he molested a celestial woman.

Lord Brahma is also called as “BRAHMATMA” and “BRAHMAJOTI”. Sometimes Lord Brahma is also described as Lord Viswakarma, the Divine Architect. It is also mentioned in the Holy Texts, that since, Lord Brahma has fully involved in his creation work, and since he is too busy with his hectic work schedule, hence there is no time to keep any weapons with him. In the Brahma Purana, it was mentioned that once he destroyed few demons by creating fire by rubbing his hands, and apart from this incident, he didn’t destroy anyone through his powers. Anyhow, in our daily life, Lord Brahma cannot be ignored, since he acts as our Divine father and mother.

During the time of his golden rule, Lord Rama has given correct judgement, and ruled his Ayodhya Kingdom as per the law of Dharma. Some of the cases which he has settled in his court in an amicable manner are as follows:-

CASE NO.1

Once a stray dog stood before the entrance of Rama’s palace and it began to bark loudly. On seeing that, the soldiers allowed it to enter into the court of Lord Rama. When the dog arrived before Rama, he found a deep injury on the face of the dog, and when Rama had enquired about it, the dog had replied that a Brahmin had injured it by throwing a stone on its face. And, as per the orders of Lord Rama, the Brahmin who caused injury to the dog was brought to the court of Rama, by the soldiers. When Rama was about to give his judgement, the dog had requested Rama to make the Brahmin as a king for a region. On hearing that, everyone was surprised. But the dog told, “Once when a person has become a king, he has to bear the sins of his people also, and that’s why, I have asked Lord Rama to make him as a king for a small region”.

After knowing about the intelligence of the dog, everyone has appreciated it, and as per its request, the Brahmin had been made as a king for a small kingdom.
