Poush Amavasya is No Moon day, Amavasya, in Poush Month of Hindu Calendar. In 2019, Poush Amavasya date is January 5 as per North Indian Hindi calendars and February 4 as per Amavasyant Panchangams (Marathi Panchang, Gujarati Panchang, Telugu Panchangam and Kannada Panchanga).

Poush Amavasya is also celebrated as Bakula Amavasya (Vakula Amavasya) in Odisha. And this year, it falls on Shanivar hence celebrated as Shani Amavasya.
