Gita Jayanti is the birth anniversary of Bhagavad Gita, the most sacred and important Hindu scripture. In 2020, Gita Jayanti date is December 25. This is the day of origination of Srimad Bhagvad Gita.
Gita Jayanti falls on Mokshada Ekadasi, Shukla Paksha Ekadasi in Margashirsha Month.
Bhagvad Gita is one of the most influential literary works till date which also explains about personality development and time management.
Lord Krishna explained knowledge about the birth, living, the duties of life and the death in very informative manner to king Arjuna who wanted to leave the battle field in order escape from killing of his own cousins, fathers and other relatives.
