Magshar Month 2018-2019 in Gujarati Calendar

Magshar month is the 2nd month in Gujarati calendar followed in Gujarat. In 2018-2019, Magshar month starts on December 8 and ends on 6 January 2019.

Marathi calendar also follows the similar calendar but it is the ninth month in traditional Marathi Panchang.

Magshar month is highly auspicious as it is the favorite month for Lord Krishna. This month marks the beginning of Hemant rithu in Gujarat. In Gujarat, Laxmi Vrat is observed on Thursdays in this month.

Gita Jayanti, Shri Datta Jayanti, etc. are important festivals in Magshar month 2017 of Gujarati calendar.

Sud Paksha in Gujarati Magshar month 2018 begins on December 8 and ends on December 22.

Vad Paksha in Gujarati Magshar mahina starts on December 23 and ends on January 6, 2019.
