Jyeshta month, or Jyeshta maas or Jyeshta masam (May-June-July) is the third month in traditional Hindu lunar calendar. In 2026, Jyeshta Month comes twice as – Shuddha Jyeshta Maas (Nija Jyeshta Maas) and Adhik Jyeshta Maas.

In 2026, Jyeshta month (Pratham Jyeshta Maas | Shuddha Jyeshta Month) begins on May 2 and Krishna Paksha ends on May 16; Shuddha Jyeshta Maas Shukla Paksha begins on June 16 and ends on June 29 as per North Indian Hindu calendars. Rambha Vrat (Rambha Tritiya Vrata), Aranya Sashti (Vindhya Vasini Puja / Vanagauri Puja), Mela Kshirbhavani in Kashmir, Ganga Dashara Ganga Pujan & Vat Savitri Vrat (Vat Purnima Vrat) are observed in Jyeshta Month.
