Endless Journey

Right from our birth till our death, our life is an endless journey. Journey means not in the sense of just simply travelling to various places. Though we may sit at our home, but our mind would undertake journey to various places within a few seconds, since human mind would keep on wavering here and there. In order to make our life journey into safe and secure, we should control our mind from our young age itself. Our mind is like a monkey, and controlling that is very difficult. Quickly human’s mind would become rust, if we fill it up with full of unwanted and bad thoughts.

During our young age, our journey would focus on studying and playing, at our teenage, after the completion of our studies, our journey would be on entering into some occupation as well as we would enter into the marital life journey, after some time, we would be having children, work pressure, tensions, personal problems, and many more! We would have also travelled to various places during our official duty. Then after getting retired from the job, with our savings, we would try to lead a peaceful life along with our family. Of course, we would also have completed some fantastic spiritual journeys along with our family before reaching our old age. But whether those journeys would help us to attain the glory of the god! No it would not help us in any way, if we made those spiritual journeys into just time pass funny journeys!

During our endless journey of life, we should allocate sufficient time to undertake spiritual journeys to holy places, since doing Teerta Yatra is considered as highly auspicious, and it would lead us to the gateway of heaven. But how many of us, are spending our spiritual journey into more spiritualistic! Most of us while going to the temples in different places are making nuisance talks, and some of us are also discussing about the present day politics, latest movies and even about the latest cooking recipes! Just visiting the holy pilgrimage sites for name sake would not fetch any good results in our life. Based on our savings, we should plan in such a manner, to undertake travel to the temples perfectly, and during such travels, we should control our mind, and must not think about anything, but our mind must focus only on god, god and god only.

In order to undertake good spiritual journeys in our life, first, let us read the ”Bhagavat Gita teachings”, of Lord Krishna, so that, our spiritual journeys would become more spiritualistic, realistic and enthusiastic!
