Venkateswara Swamy has even once shed Blood..

Generally, while mentioning about the significance of Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Christians used to keep saying about the sacrifice done by the great Lord Jesus Christ who has giving himself on the Holy Cross, and it is a really a great thing done by the saviours like Lord Jesus Christ. Though I am a Hindu, but, I am also a believer of Lord Jesus Christ, about his valuable teachings and his great sacrifice. But at the same time, we should also think about the sacrifices done by our Hindu deities, saints and saviours also, since most of us believe that the wonderful incidents happened in the lives of our deities are just fictitious and exaggerated!

In order to prosper the earth, Lord Vishnu had once left Vaikunta, came to the earth, and he settled down on the Seshachalam  Hills

(Present day Tirumala Hills) inside an anthill. After some time, Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma incarnated as a calf and a cow and they were taken care of by a cowherd of Chola kingdom in the Seshachalam hills. The cow and calf, everyday used to give their milk in the anthill to reduce the hunger and thirst of Lord Vishnu. The Chola king became suspicious. The next day the king also went along with the cowherd, and he has hidden near a tree, and when the cowherd has seen the act of the cow when it was pouring the milk from its udder to Lord Srinivasa, he got angry with the cow and attacked it with a stick. But on behalf of the cow, Lord Vishnu had accepted the attack and got wounded on his forehead, and blood began to ooze severely. After seeing Lord Srinivasa inside the anthill, the king and the cowherd were very much worried about their cruel act and both of them were then surrendered at the Lord’s lotus feet.

Likewise, Sri Koorathalvan, who was a great Vaishnavite Saint and the disciple of Sri Ramanuja, has once lost his eye sight, due to the orders of a Shaivite King, when he has refused to embrace Shaivism. But, still, then he prayed to Lord Vishnu, for the wellness of the Shavite King, and asked the Lord to forgive the mistake of the king! Who will say like this! Did the so called “NON-BELIEVERS OF GOD”, would have ever heard this! Even if they read this wonderful incident, still they might say, just, these are all “IMAGINARY” and “FICTITIOUS”. Likewise when the holy Yudhishtra once had got the opportunity of entering into heaven, but he was stopped by Lord Indra, since Yudhishtra wants a dog also to accompany with him. He even avoided his entry in the heaven, since he has shown great attention even on animals like dog!

Hence let us try to know more and more about the importance and the sacrifices of our Hindu Deities, Saints, Sages and Saviours, and let us be blessed.
