Thousands of devotees throng the temple for Swami vari and Ammavari Darshanam and to see the annual Brahmotsavam.
It is to note that main Brahmotsavam in Srisailam Temple is during Maha Shivaratri. At 8.30 AM on 11 January 2021, Ankurarpana is held amidst chants of Veda Pandits. Shiva Sankalpam, Ganapathi Puja, Swasthi, Punyaha Vachanam, Chandishwara Puja, Kankana Puja, Kankana Dharanam, Ruthwikgvaranam, Akhanda Deeparadhana, Vasthu Puja, Vasthu Homam, Mandaparadhana, Kalasha Sthapana, Panchavaranarchana, Japanushtanalu, Parayana are being held during Brahmotsavams.
At 5.30 in the evening (on 11 January), Sayankala Archana, Ankuraropana, Agni Pratishtapana, Sayankala Havanam, and at 7’0 clock in the night, Chandishwara Puja, Bheri Puja, Bheri Tandana, Sakala Devatavhana Purvaka Dhwajarohana, etc are performed.
Special Pujas and Archanas are performed during all days during Brahmotsavams in Mallikarjuana swamy Temple and Bramarambika Devi Temple.
