SONGS ON LORD VARUNA DEV

Oh, I praise you Lord Varuna, you are the great ocean god, whoever worships you, would get fulfilled all of their wishes, and they would lead a blessed life. You look like the full moon, and your sacred water is very pure and holy. Those who take shelter at your lotus feet would easily cross their worldly bondages.

You have given salvation to the noble departed souls and similar to them, please give salvation to us, in order to stop taking innumerable births in this world. Those who seek your protection would always be protected by you, and those who keep utmost faith and devotion on you, would be blessed by you.

Whoever sings your songs in praise of you, and worships you by lighting lamps, would be considered as your humble servants, and they would be able to easily attain your grace. By taking bath in your sacred water, even the wicked and the cruel one’s sins would be washed out, since you are the remover of sins of all the people in the earth.

Even the divine demi gods, sages and saints takes bath on the sacred Rivers like Ma Ganga, Yamuna and Cauvery, who are under your control, and whoever praises your glories and chants Mantras, would reach your abode, The Marvellous Varuna Loka. Those who chant the Mantra, “JAI SRI VARUNA DEVAYA NAMAHA”, would be blessed by all the deities, and by worshipping you, we are getting great happiness and peacefulness, since we consider you as our respectful “FATHER GOD”.

Since you contain the features of Lord Vishnu, you are also popularly called as “VARUNANARAYANA”, “VISHNUVARUNA”, “ANANTAVARUNA”, and your significance is increasing day by day in the earth and also in the heaven. Oh my Dear Lord Varuna, please help us to get rid from water related diseases like diabetes, common cold and from lung infections, and please make us to always chant your Mantras and Names, in order to lead a disciplined and pious life.
