Special Trains for Makar Sankranti 2014 for Bandra, Patna, Jammu Tawi – The railway administration has decided to ply two special trains to cater to the heavy rush of passengers. While one will run between Bandra Terminus and Patna, the other train will run between Bandra and Jammu Tawi.
Train number 09011/09012 will depart from Bandra at about 5:10 am and travel via Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuach, Vadodra, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, and Bayana to reach Agra Fort at 11:55 pm, Tundla at 1:30 am, Kanpur Central at 5:15 am, Allahabad at 8:35 am, Mughalsarai at 12:15 pm, Buxar at 2:00 pm, Ara at 2:52 pm, and Danapur at 3:26 pm before finally terminating at Patna at 4:00 pm.
During the return journey, the train will depart from Patna at 6:45 am and reach terminate at Bandra at 4:35 pm. The train will depart from Bandra terminus every Sunday from January 5 to 12 and from Patna end every Tuesday from January 7 to 14. This train will comprise of six general, seven sleeper, two AC-III tier and one AC-II tier coaches.
On the other hand, train number 9021/9022 will ply between Bandra and Jammu Tawi. It will depart from Bandra Terminus at 4:50 pm and go through the route of Boriwali, Vapi, Surat, Bharauch, Vadodra, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Hidaun City, Bhartpur and reach Mathura at 9:20 pm. After that, it will go through the route of Tughlakabad, Delhi Safdarjung, Panipat, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cannt and finally terminate at Jammu Tawi at 1:15 am.
During the return journey, the train will depart from Jammu Tawi at 7:25 am and after going through the above route will reach Bandra next day at 4:35 pm. This train will depart from Bandra end every Monday from January 6 to 13 and from Jammu Tawi end every Wednesday from January 8 to 15.
