Pushpa Yagam in Tirumala Tirupati Sri Venkateshwara Temple: Annual Pushpa Yagam to Lord Balaji

Pushpa Yagam, Vrashika (annual) Pushpa Yagam, is a ritual performed at Tirumala Tirupati Sri Venkateshwara temple during Kartika masam. During this puja, Lord Balaji is worshipped with tones of flowers that grown in Srivari udyanavanam (Flower gardens of TTD). In 2012, Pushpa Yagam date is November 19, Monday.

In all 22 temples in Tirumala Tirupati, the annual Pushpayagam is performed with more fervor and gaiety.

During the Pushpa yagam, Srivaru is worshipped with several tones of flowers. More than 25 types of flowers are used in Pushpabhishekam.

Goddess Padmavati Devi is also worshipped with Pushpa Yagam during Kartika Brahmotsavam held at Tiruchanur Padmavati Ammavari temple.
