Narasimha Swamy in Puranas, Vedas

We must have to compulsorily worship Sri Bhakta Prahlada in order to get the grace of Bhagavan Narasimha, since the great Lord Vishnu took the Narasimha Avatar only for the purpose of safeguarding his devotee Prahlada from the clutches of his father Hiranyakasipu. Getting the grace of the god is very difficult, and it could be made possible only by the way of approaching his Bhagavathas like Sri Prahalada. Even for becoming an Upasaka of Lord Narasimha, first we have to be an Upasaka of Sri Prahalada, and then only we would get the golden opportunity of becoming a Narasimha Upasaka.

Narasimha is considered to be an Ugra (Angry) god, and he was pacified only by his devotee Sri Prahlada. When even Ma Lakshmi was afraid to approach her beloved consort Narasimha who was in a strange lion and human form, it was the great Prahlada, who didn’t get fear in approaching his worshipful god, Sri Narasimha, and he also chanted the various names and Mantras by standing closely before Narasimha. In order to honour the Bhakti of his devotee Prahlada, Lord Narasimha, hugged him, gently rubbed his body, and also kept him on his lap, by considering him to be his own son.

Prahlada acts as a mediator between us and Lord Narasimha, and whoever expresses their worries before the idol of Prahlada, would be passed by him to his beloved god Narasimha within a fraction of second, and they would get proper solutions to their problems immediately, through the grace of both Prahlada and Narasimha.

Narasimha Stuti is an important Stotra which was recited by Prahlada in order to safeguard us from our enemies, to get freed from our tensions, stress and sorrows in our life. If we simply ignore Prahlada, and worship only Lord Narasimha, then we would not get favourable results in our life, since Prahlada’sIshta Deva (Beloved deity) is Lord Narasimha.

Prahlada also closely resemble to that of child Krishna, with regard to his smartness, attractiveness and beautiful appearance. Since Prahlada is the King among the Demons, those who suffer from black magic, enmity problems and from the fear of evil spirits, must have to worship Prahlada in order to get rid from their problems. Since Prahlada had again taken birth as Guru Raghavendra, the great Saint of Mantralayam, we can worship Prahlada in the form of Guru Raghavendra, in order to lead a peaceful, blessed and a happy life. Generally, at this Kali Yuga, we cannot always expect god to come before us during problematic situations. In order to segregate his duties, he is frequently sending his messengers in the form of Prahlada, Dhruva and Markandeya.

Even if god makes delay in giving his blessings to his devotees, but, the great Saint Guru Raghavendra would never cause any delay in showering his utmost grace on us.
