Let us keep meditating on Lord Shiva, since Shiva himself is doing that holy act, for our well-being. It is also easy to chant “SHIVA”, “SHIVA”, and we can also frequently chant the “OM NAMAH SHIVAYA” mantra, as much as possible. Lord Shiva is considered to be the first and foremost Rishi and he is also considered to be a great Siddha Purusha. Though Lord Shiva contains great powers, still he is doing penance for the sake of the living beings in the universe.

Though Shiva had got married with our holy mother, Ma Shakti Devi, yet, the divine couple are apart from physical pleasures. Their sons Vinayaka and Muruga were didn’t take birth from the womb of Ma Shakti Devi, but they were born out of the powers of Shiva and Shakti.

Without knowing about the significance of the divine couple, some people are simply criticising them that even Hindu goddesses are giving birth to children like ordinary people, and their statement must be highly condemned by the Hindus. We can find in some of the pictures of Lord Shiva and Ma Shakti Devi, where they would be seen hugging each other, in order to show their love and affection before others, and these divine couple cannot be separated by anyone in the universe. By taking them as the best example, we also must lead a perfect marriage life, and we should not get separated from our life partner throughout our life.

When Lord Shiva meditates in the Kailash, Ma Parvati would sing wonderful divine songs in praise of Lord Shiva. When Lord Shiva looks mercifully and lovingly on his consort, Ma Shakti Devi, she also would see the divine vision of Lord Shiva, with a beautiful smile and a pleasing shy on her face. Ancient Puranas and Vedas praise these marvellous divine couple as the “DIVINE PARENTS”.

The Shiva Purana tells about the divine beauty of Lord Shiva and Parvati, and their beauty cannot be compared with anyone in the universe.Whenever we meditate on Lord Shiva along with Ma Shakti Devi, we could find eternal peace of mind, and we could also feel that our mind and body becomes very lighter than ever before. Many ancient pious people have reached the divine worlds through their meditation on Lord Shiva, and at this present situation, chanting the names and mantras of Lord Shiva, and doing meditation on him would give lot of prosperity to our lives.
