Mazhuvannur Maha Siva Temple is an ancient Hindu Temple in Kerala. It is situated at the foot of Banasura Hills in Wayanad, in Kerala in south India. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva in the sanctum-sanctorum. The other deities in the shrine premises are Lord Ganapathi, Lord Ayyappa, nandhi, sree durga and Arayil Bhagavathy.
It is to be highly noted that from dates unknown, Daily poojas are performed without any break. The popular Mazhuvannur Thekke Illam family members are in-charge of the poojas and rituals in this shrine. The shrine is perfectly situated on the highest peak in the region of Tharuvana, Paliyana and Karingari.

It is to be remembered that “Annadanam” is offered on the first day of each and every month of the Hindu calendar year. In this shrine, special pujas and rituals are conducted by the head priest on the days of Amavasya and Purnima for the devotees.
The other important festivals celebrated in this shrine are Aaayudha pooja, Vishu, Onam and Shivarathri. Daily evening pooja is carried out during the sabarimala season. Special bhajan programs and humoms are conducted for the resident ardent followers plus admirers and people from far of places.
