The community dining event in the auspicious month of Karthika, the Kartika Vana Bhojanam program will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in Tirumala.
It is customary to perform this unique dining event in the Paruveta Mandapam every year. TTD has decided to conduct this event this year at Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in view of the cyclonic warning by the Meteorological Department.
As a part of this, in the morning Sri Malayappa Swamy with His two Consorts is brought to the Vaibhavotsava Mandapam.
Between 11 am and 12 noon, Sridevi and Bhudevi sameta Sri Malayappa Swamy conducted the will-be-rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam.
The special Abhishekam with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, sandalwood paste, turmeric and other spices is offered on the occasion.
Due to this event, TTD has cancelled the Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasradipalankara sevas for the day.

తిరుమల, 2023 డిసెంబరు 02: కార్తీక వన భోజన కార్యక్రమం డిసెంబరు 3వ తేది ఆదివారం తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆల‌యం స‌మీపంలోని వైభ‌వోత్స‌వ మండపంలో జరుగనుంది. సాదార‌ణంగా గోగర్భం సమీపంలో గల పార్వేటమండపంలో నిర్వహించడం ఆన‌వాయితీ. వాతావ‌ర‌ణ శాఖ తుఫాన్ హెచ్చ‌రిక‌ల నేప‌థ్యంలో ఈ ఏడాది వైభ‌వోత్స‌వ మండపంలో నిర్వ‌హించాల‌ని టీటీడీ నిర్ణ‌యించింది. పవిత్రమైన కార్తీకమాసంలో వనభోజనం నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది.
ఇందులో భాగంగా ఉదయం శ్రీ‌వారు ఉభయనాంచారులతో కలిసి వైభ‌వోత్స‌వ మండపానికి వేంచేపు చేస్తారు. ఉదయం 11 నుండి 12 గంటల నడుమ శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారికి స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహిసారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, చందనం, పసుపు తదితర సుగంధ ద్రవ్యాలతో విశేషంగా అభిషేకం చేస్తారు. అనంత‌రం స్వామివారు ఆల‌యానికి వేంచేపు చేస్తారు.
ఈ ఉత్సవం కారణంగా శ్రీవారి అలయంలో నిర్వహించు కల్యాణోత్సవం, ఊంజల్‌సేవ, ఆర్జితబ్రహ్మూెత్సవం, సహస్రదీపాలంకారసేవలను టీటీడీ రద్దు చేసింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టీటీడీ ఉన్నతాధికారులు మరియు సిబ్బంది పాల్గొంటారు.
వనభోజనాల ప్రాశస్త్యం
పవిత్రమైన కార్తీకమాసంలో వనభోజనం నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది. ప్రకృతి ఒడిలో చెట్ల నడుమ నిర్వహించే ఈ వనభోజనాలకు హిందూ సంప్రదాయంలో విశేష ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంది. కార్తీకమాసం శివుడికి, శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువుకు ఇష్టమైనది. ఈ మాసంలో పవిత్ర స్నానాలు, దానాలు, దీపారాధన, వనభోజనాలు విశేషమైన ఫలితాలను ఇస్తాయని పురాణాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తోంది. కార్తీక మాసంలో ముక్కోటి దేవతలు, ముఖ్యంగా శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువు, శ్రీమహాలక్ష్మితో కలిసి ఉసిరి చెట్టు కింద నివసిస్తారని పురాణాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తోంది. ఉసిరి, తులసి, వేప, రావి, బిల్వ తదితర వృక్షాల‌ను ప్రార్థించడం, పసుపు, కుంకుమ మరియు పుష్పాలతో అలంకరించడం ద్వారా కార్తీకమాసంలో మంచి ఫలితాలు వస్తాయి.
