Gujarat Elections 2012 results, trends, seats, and majority lists are given here. Though Congress may give tough fight for BJP (Narendra Modi), BJP is predicted to win majority of seats convincingly.

Gujarat elections were held in 2 phases – 1st phase on 13th December and 2nd phase on 17th December. Due to the huge turnout of polling, BJP is hoping for a thumping majority.

As per the final verdict, here are the positions and the number of seats of the parties..

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won in 115 seats

Congress has won 61 seats

GPP (Gujarat Parivartan Party) has won 2 seats

Others won 4 seats

BJP – leading in 26 seats

Congress – leading in 12 seats

GPP – leading in 0 seats

Others – leading in 0 seats
