Dvidala Vrata or Dwidhala vratam is the last vratha among the four vratas during Chaturmas Vratha. In 2022, Dvidala vrata begins on October 6 and ends on November 4.
Dvidala vratha starts on the eleventh day in Ashwin (Ashwayuja Shukla Ekadashi – Pashankusha Ekadashi) and ends on the eleventh day in Kartik month (Karthika Shukla Ekadashi – Prabhodini Ekadashi).
During Dvidala vrata, all food items made with pulses which have two halves like Toor daal, Channa daal, Masoor daal, urad daal, groundnuts, etc. are avoided.
