Dvidala Vrata or Dwidhala vratam is the last vratha among the four vratas during Chaturmas Vratha. In 2020, Dvidala vrata begins on October 27 and ends on November 25.
Dvidala vratha starts on the eleventh day in Ashwin (Ashwayuja Shukla Ekadashi – Pashankusha Ekadashi) and ends on the eleventh day in Kartik month (Karthika Shukla Ekadashi – Prabhodini Ekadashi).
During Dvidala vrata, all food items made with pulses which have two halves like Toor daal, Channa daal, Masoor daal, urad daal, groundnuts, etc. are avoided.
