(69) Light of knowledge appears in all senses when sattva predominates, when rajas predominates, greed, activity, restlessness, and craving springs forth. When tamas predominates, darkness, inertia, negligence, negligence, and delusions arise.
(70) Three inspirations for karma are knowledge, knower, and object of knowledge. Three components of karma are action, instrument, and agent. Knowledge and karma are of three kinds, according to differences in guna.
(71) There is no creature on the earth or heaven among gods, that could possibly exist without three gunas out of Prakriti.
(72) The knowledge by which the imperishable is seen in all existence, undivided in the multiple is satvic. The knowledge that sees the multiplicity of beings in different creations due to their separation is rajasic.
(73) Stipulated karma performed without attachment, without love or hate, without desiring fruits, is satvic karma. Karma which is undertaken for the fulfillment of desires, impelled by senses of egoism, and carried out with great strain is rajasic.
(74) The knowledge that clings to one single object, lacks philosophical meaning, and limited is tamasic, of tamas nature. While, karma undertaken due to attachment, without considering capacity, without any regard for consequences, destruction, and violence is known as tamasic karma.
(75) The intellect that knows the correct nature of liberation & bondage, karma & a-karma, what to be feared & whatnot, is considered as satvic. The intellect that is mistaken in its knowledge of dharma and adharma, what is to be done and what is to be not done is rajasic in nature.
(76) The intellect which is engulfed in darkness, considers dharma as adharma, and observed all things in opposite manner is of tamasic nature.
(77) If, because of a sense of egoism, you think that `I will not fight`, then, these efforts will in vain because your nature will compel you to do so.
(78) This knowledge, more secret than of all secrets, has been explained to you, in totality, by me.
(79) Now, do as you wish, but, remember the consequences of your each and every act, whether it is good or bad, since everything is watched by me.
