The Bhagavad Gita contains the teachings of Lord Krishna, who delivered his divine speech during the time of Kurukshetra war to Arjuna. It was happened before 5000+odd years, and still now, the nice teachings of Bhagavan Krishna helps the entire people in the world to find out the perfect way of living in the world.It contains various spiritual topics and it mainly focus on the disciplined way of living, avoidance of committing of sins, and to concentrate our attention on the path of bhakti. The beautiful dialogues made between Krishna and Arjuna came to be known as “BHAGAVAT GITA”. Bhagavat Gita explains about the existence of the god in our souls, and it tells that, one can realize the god by keeping sincere bhakti on him.
The Bhagavad Gita also tells about salvation, Karma, Yoga and spirituality.Swami Vivekananda and AdiShankara wrote commentary for Bhagavat Gita, and made it in a simplified manner. In Bhagavat Gita, we can find lot of good things, which must be perfectly practised by us in this today’s world.
Similar to the Christians Bible, and Muslims Quran, every Hindu must carry a copy of Bhagavat Gita with him, in order to glorify our holy Hinduism.
