10 July 2024 – Varahi Navaratri 5th day Pooja Timings, 5th day Stotram or Mantram and 5th day Goddess to worshipped is given here. In 2024, Varahi Navaratri begins on July 6 and ends on July 15. The fifth day of Varahi Navaratri falls on the fifth day of Ashada Masam in Hindu Calendar.

As we know, Varahi Mata has various forms and alankarams, On fifth day of Navaratri, Vartali Varahi Devi is worshipped and Vartali Varahi Mantram and Vartali Varahi Stotram is chanted.

Goddess Varahi Devi is seen as the feminine energy of Lord Vishnu and holds the same weapons as him. Some puranas also interpret Goddess Varahi as being the energy of Lord Yama. Read more about Varahi Devi here…

According to the Shumbha-Nishumbha story of the Devi Mahatmya from the Markandeya Purana religious texts, the Matrikas goddesses appears as shaktis (feminine powers) from the bodies of the gods. The scriptures say Varahi was created from Varaha. She has a boar form, wields a chakra (discus) and fights with a sword.
