TTD’s idol distribution to speed up | Stone, Panchaloha idol distribution process to required Temples

The sculpture wing of temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has geared up to speed up the process of distribution of stone and Panchaloha idols to the required temple under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

During the weekly review meeting in Tirupati also, TTD EO emphasised on this issue and instructed the engineering wing to speed up the process. He also instructed svbc and PR wings of TTD to give enough publicity on this sculpting and distribution for the information of pilgrims.

Some important guidelines to procure idols:

@ The temple committee should furnish the details of the presiding deity, size, drawing, temple photo, other particulars.
@ permission from District Assistant Commission per of Endowments Department or MRO is mandatory.
@ Attested Certificate from Tahasildar
@Stone idols price depends on the size.
@ If it is a SC/ST colony, the idol will be given free of cost and for BCs and others at 75%subsidy.
@If in the case of Panchaloha idols, 90%subsidy for SC -ST colonies and 75% subsidy for BCs and others

IT APPLICATION FOR PROCUREMENT

Later the EO instructed the IT wing of TTD to design separate IT application towards the procurement of groceries and other commodities as per market value in a transparent manner.

He also said, the traditional bulbs should be replaced with energy saving and cost effective LED lights to minimise expenditure.

The EO instructed the engineering wing to set up an RO plant at the beginning of Alipiri Footpath route for the sake of pilgrims.

All projects special officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, DLO Sri Venkatramana and other senior officers were also present.
