TTD will decide on conducting Brahmotsavams twice a year from neat year i.e. 2012 if Agama pundits say ‘Yes’. Now, Brahmotsavams in Tirumala Tirupati Temple are conducted once a year during Dasara Navaratri Utsavams. As per the temple sources, earlier Brahmotsavams were conducted twice a year but to reduce the cost it was limited once a year.. (this is not confirmed yet)..
Now as one of the richest temples in India and world, TTD can conduct the Brahmotsavams twice a year. It is to note that Brahmotsavam is the event to draw the biggest pilgrim turnout from various parts of the country and even from parts of the world.
