With a little more than two months left for the annual mega religious event, Sri Venkateswara Swamy brahmotsavams at Tirumala which is scheduled to commence in the last week of September this year, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal directed the officers to commence the works for the same.
Reviewing in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday, the EO along with JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and Sri P Bhaskar, the EO said in the wake of ensuing brahmotsavams the parking areas are to be identified at Tirumala and Tirupati keeping in view the scores of pilgrims who throng from different places for Garuda Seva. “A team comprising both JEOs, CVSO and CE shall visit to identify the appropriate parking place at Bhavan’s school in Tirupati and Kakulakonda area in Tirumala”, he said.
The EO also instructed the concerned to give a new look to Tirumala temple by giving LED lighting inside and outside the temple. He instructed the Engineering wing to complete the pending civil works in Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati by August end. “Also complete the Ratha Mandapam works by August 15 and shift the wooden chariot from the present place in Tiruchanoor”, he added.
JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO A Ravikrishna, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji were also present.
