Brahmotsavam is a nine-day festival in Tirumala Tirupati Venkateshwara Devasthanam. In 2012, Tirupati Brahmotsavam during Durga Navratri begins from October 14 with Ankurarpana and ends on October 23 with Chakrasnana Mahotsavam. Ankurarpana utsavam is performed in the evening on 14 October 2012.
Garuda Vahana seva 2012 date is October 19. This festival attracts several lakhs of devotees. Garuda seva is the most celebrated day for Tirupati Brahmotsavam. Though, the festival of Brahmotsavam is continued for nine days, Garuda vahan seva is the most auspicious among all because Garuda is the Kshetra palaka and the vahanam or the vehicle of Lord Vishnu.
Pedda Sesha Vahana seva 2012 date is 16 October and on 17th Chinna Sesha Vahana seva is performed. Hanumath Vahana seva and Vasantotsavam are the events performed on October 20th. Rathotsavam is celebrated on 22nd October.
