The 1045th Avatarotsavam of the great Sri Vaishnavaite Saint, Sri Tirumala Nambi will be observed in a spiritual way in Tirumala on August 19 under the aegis of Alwar Divya Prabandha Project of TTD. This religious event will take place at Tirumala Nambi Sannidhi located in South Mada Street from 9am onwards.
Tirumala Nambi was one of the ardent devotees of lord Venkateswara who introduced abhisheka kainkaryam. He also happens to be uncle of Sri Ramanujacharya.
Tirumala Nambi pioneered “Teertha Kainkarya” to Lord Venkateswara and he was also known as Acharya Purusha, who was one of the five gurus of Sri Ramanujacharya and also his maternal uncle.
Meanwhile on Saturday, Chaturveda Parayanam was rendered by 30 Ritwiks in connection with Tirumala Nambi Avatarotsavam in the Tirumala Nambi temple on Saturday.
These programs takes place Tirumala Nambi Sannidhi located in South Mada street at Tirumala under the aegis of Alwar Divya Prabandha Project of TTD and in the supervision the decendents of Tatacharya.
