By reading Swamy books, we would get a great sense of satisfaction, and it also offers a great and grand feast to our eyes. Reading spiritual books is an easy way of expressing our bhakti from our home itself, and we cannot find any strain in reading books. It is much easier than that of listening to Upanyasam, visiting temples and watching spiritual videos. Within a few hours, we could read an entire book like Srimad Bhagavatham, and we could get great Punya in doing that. Whereas, for watching Videos or listening to an Upanyasam, we have to keep both eyes and ears open, in order to observe the spiritual essence in our soul.
We can gift spiritual books to libraries, schools and to public charitable institutions like Mental Homes, Institutes for physically challenged people, Old aged homes and orphanages. We can also take some spiritual books along with us, and visit old aged homes and other charitable institutions, and we can recite the verses from our Hindu Holy Books to the people who stay in those institutions.
Some rich people would do lot of sacred deeds in their lives like providing food, cloth and shelter to the poor people, and likewise, they can also buy thousands of spiritual books in order to donate it to the devotees during their visit to the temples. Spreading about the holiness of the gods/goddesses is also considered to be a very good act, and those who willfully do it, would be able to lead to the gateway of heaven, after their death.
Living an ordinary life like simply eating food, sleeping and gossiping about others would not fetch any good karmas to the doers, whereas those who share about the significance of the deities by the way of distributing books to those spiritually interested people, would get a great sense of satisfaction during the time of their death, and they also would get a fearless and a painless death.Daily millions of child takes birth and millions of people die. No one can escape from death, and hence instead of leading an ordinary life, let us pass the glories of the almighty by the way of distributing lots and lots of spiritual books to the devotees of the almighty.
