For the easy understanding of a common man, Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya has composed a simple Prakarana Grantha called Svatma Nirupanam. This Prakarana Grantha was translated by Sri Jnanananda Bharati Swamiji.
This small treatise contains 154 verses which begins with the adoration of the Guru and an enumeration of the qualifications required for the disciple.
