Sudar Trust Thirucherai.. Today I went to Sudar Trust, which is really a divine home for special children and it is being run by Sri Dakshinamoorthy for several years. His dream Aim, of becoming an I A S was not fulfilled since he has dreamt differently! He was very much interested to satisfy the needs of the disabled and mentally disordered people, and hence he has started this Trust. The address of the home is: Sudar Trust, Melaveedi, Thirucherai, which is located a few kms far away from Kumbakonam.
Mr.Dakshinamoorthy cordially invites the donors to donate any amount, on their birthdays, wedding day, or on any other special occasion. People can also donate their old clothes for the welfare of the children, who are very much in need of dresses, and by doing that, we could see a wonderful smile on their face. Today(21.09.2024), I have visited this wonderful place, and also delivered some nice spiritual lectures to them.

As per the sayings of Guru Raghavendra, “God has given you sufficient wealth due to your past birth good karmas. Try to utilize it properly, and contribute a portion of your wealth for charity purpose also, since at any time, anything can happen, hence before your death try to do good activities as much as possible”. Lord Krishna in his Bhagavat Gita also tells, “GIVE FOOD, GIVE FOOD, GIVE FOOD”, he asks us to donate food to the poor and the needy, and he insists us to do food donation by telling it three times. We can also spend some few hours in orphanages and can tell bhakti stories on Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, since stories related to Rama and Krishna would give great spiritual pleasure, and due to that, the people in orphanages like those who are in Sudar Trust, would get happiness at least for some time in their life.
We can find great pleasure by offering something to others. During Deepavali and Pongal festivals, we can prepare large quantity of ghee sweets and snacks and can distribute it to orphanages like Sudar Trust. We would get great enjoyment by seeing the satisfied smiles on their face, which we could not get anywhere else. God only serves as our true parent, and especially for those who lost their parent at their young age. Human being life are temporary only, and hence losing the lives of our near and dear ones could happen to us at any time, and hence let us pay more and more attention on the disabled and differently abled people, since doing service to the people is greater than that of doing service to the god!
