There is a famous Mutt for the Madhwa Guru and the great Dvaita scholar, Sri Vijayeendra Tirtharu, and it is located at 159, Solaiappan Street, Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu 612001, and in this famous Mutt, a separate shrine for Guru Raghavendra Swamy, and Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy are also available.
In this temple, the annual Aradhana for Sri Vijayeendra Tirtha is celebrated once in a year in a grand manner, and his aradhana falls on Jyesta Krishna Trayodashi, during June – July. For visiting the shrines of Sri Vijayeendra Theertha and Guru Raghavendra Swamy, male devotees must have to remove their shirts and Banians, and we could visit the shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narayana, only if we wore a dhoti, and wearing of pants is strictly prohibited.
This Vijayeendra Mutt was built in recognition to the divine service rendered by the Madhwa Guru Sri Vijayeendra who is considered to be a senior to Guru Raghavendra, and it is believed that still he actively performs puja to Lord Vishnu at his Shrine and also removes the troubles and turmoil of the devotees.
There is also a temple tank situated nearby the holy Mutt, and devotees must be very careful to step inside the holy tank, since the tank contains lot of Paasi, dirt, and while I was visiting this auspicious Temple tank on 10.02.2022, I have accidentally fell down on the water, but, as usual, I was miraculously saved by the great Guru Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
In Madhwa Mutts, the priests expect lot of purity, sincerity and neatness from us, since they themselves observe it very perfectly. After having the darshan of the holy Gurus and Sri Lakshmi Narayana, we can get Tulasi Theertha, flowers and Atchadai from the temple priests. Sri Vijayeendra and Guru Raghavendra once served as the pontiffs in the Holy Kumbakonam Mutt, and their holy feet also touched at the present place of the temple.
Lots and lots of miracles were performed by Sri Vijayeendra and Guru Raghavendra in the lives of their devotees, and both of them were incarnated in this earth, to serve their beloved deity Lord Vishnu, as well as in order to serve their devotees in a pleasing manner.
A few YouTube Videos about this wonderful Mutt are also available, and devotees can make use of it, by watching those nice Videos.
Those who are unable to visit Mantralayam Temple could visit this famous Mutt, since this Mutt also contains the sanctity equivalent to the holy Mantralayam Guru Raghavendra Swamy Mutt.
