Indian Independence Day 2016 no-watermark
15 August 2023 is the 77th Indian Independence Day (Svatantra Divas). Independence was the dream of crores of freedom fighters who had struggled several hundred years to achieve it. They had the success finally in 1947 on August 15. The British rule in India was concluded on this day.
Independence day of 2023 is a very special one as it is the third one with having the Tricolour flag being hosted in Srinagar (Kashmir) officially. It will be one of the most celebrated Independence Day in the history of India as Article 370 and 35 A of Indian Constitution giving special status to Jammu & Kashmir were abrogated and Kashmir has become a full-fledged part in Republic of India.
The Sepoy Rebellion of 1857, Non-Cooperation Movement of 1920, Salt March and Civil Disobedience of 1930 and the Quit India Movement of 1942 are the best and the great revolutions organised by Indian freedom fighters against the British rule and became successful in achieving freedom in 1947.
