Sri Ramanujacharya
Sri Ramanujacharya Millennium birth anniversary by TTD.. The temple management of TTD is all set to observe the Millennium birth anniversary of saint Ramanujacharya for a year from this May to April 2017.
A review meeting was held in the chambers of Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar in Tirupati on Monday evening with related departments. Excerpts of the meeting:
• Year long activity plan ro be chalked out by various related projects of TTD
• Procession of the Panchaloha idol of Saint Ramanuja to all 106 Divya Desams(two are not present on earth) in the name of “Ramanuja Sancharam”.
• performing kalyanams in these places
• printing of books on the life and various achievements
• special programmes on svbc
• Debate and quiz programmes, school level competitions, discourses by HDPP
• Identifying annamacharya keertans on ramanujacharya and composing music for those songs and bringing out in the form of CDs
• special articles in english, telugu, tamil, sanskrit and Hindi
• Dance ballet on the life of ramanujacharya by sv dance and music college
All Projects Special officer Sri muktheswara rao, Additional facao sri balaji and various ttd projects officers were also present.
