During the time of Thursday Puja in Shirdi Baba Temples, devotees used to loudly chant, “SATGURU SAINATH MAHARAJ KI JAI”, in order to show their bhakti on Sri Shirdi Saibaba, and since the devotees of Saibaba considers him similar to the king, they are praising him like that. While praising Saibaba, we can also praise the child devotees like Prahalada and Dhruva, by loudly reciting their slogans like, “OM SRI PRAHALAD MAHARAJ KI JAI”, “OM SRI DHRUVA MAHARAJ KI JAI”, since even these child devotees are considered to be the forms of the god, like our great Guru, Sri ShirdiSainath.
In most of the temples of Saibaba, every Thursday, free food would be offered to the devotees, and it would normally consist of Sambar Rice and Curd Rice. Devotees used to patiently stand in the queue, and would wait for their turn, in order to have the wonderful delicious SRI SAI PRASADAM. Sai devotees are increasing day by day, due to the great blessings showered by our Dear and Near, Sri Sainath Maharaj.
Most of the devotees would turn on their Music players during Thursdays, in order to listen to the marvellous Saibaba Songs. Lot of Hindi songs are also available in YouTube Video Channel, and most of the Sai devotees, would prefer watching these songs, even if they are not aware of Hindi language. Purchase of silk clothes for adorning it to Sri Saibaba is adopted as a practice especially during Thursdays, since most of the devotees would get satisfied by doing that holy act, by considering Saibaba as one of their family members.
We have to strictly follow the teachings of Saibaba, and he insists us to maintain patience and to show confidence. There are several staunch devotees of Saibaba who consider him similar to their Kula Deva. Lot of devotees were benefited by worshipping Saibaba, and some of those who suffer from some physical problems are able to lead their life without much difficulty by regularly worshipping our great Guru Saibaba.
Some Hindus are of the opinion, that since Saibaba has also adopted Muslim Customs and Rituals, he must not be considered as a Guru. But, since Saibaba has acted as a divine attendant of the great almighty, he is apart from religion, caste, creed and community, and he can be worshipped by anyone in the world, and he can be worshipped even by the celestials like Lord Indra, Chandra and Surya, since he contains more powers than that of them. He is common to all the religions, and the main reason for his holy avatar is to spread “UNITY AMONG THE PEOPLE”.
Even after the passage of several thousands of years, Saibaba worship would be there steadily, since he is the one, who contains the abundant powers of the almighty, and he cannot be separated from the god, since both of them are considered as one and the same.
