Saptami Shraddha is the seventh day of Pitru Paksha. In 2025, Saptami Shraddh date is September 13.
It falls on Saptami in Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month in North India and in Bhadrapad month in Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada & Telugu calendars.
Apart from Pitru Tharpan rituals Saptamatrika or seven divine mothers in Hinduism are also worshipped on this day.
