Sant Tukaram Palkhi Yatra from Dehu is a grand celebration which marks the beginning of Pandharpur Ashadi Warkari Yatra. In 2022, Sant Tukaram Palkhi procession begins on June 20 from Dehu in Pune district of Maharashtra.
Over 3 lakh pilgrims carry the Tukaram Palkhi throughout the procession to Pandharpur temple. This pilgrimage ends on a day prior to Ashadhi Ekadasi. In 2022, it ends on July 09. Ashada Ekadashi date is July 10.
Throughout the procession, Sant Tukaram Palkhi is offered pujas and Aartis.
