Prasannam are of two types:- Sozhi Prasnam and Deva Prasnam. Sozhi Prasnam is seen by the way of throwing the dices and the results would become positive or negative, based on the Sozhi’s output.

Before performing Prasnam, Abhishekham and Deeparadhana would also be done to the holy Amman, in order to complete the ritual in a full-fledged manner.
