Prasnam | Horary Astrology

Prasannam are of two types:- Sozhi Prasnam and Deva Prasnam. Sozhi Prasnam is seen by the way of throwing the dices and the results would become positive or negative, based on the Sozhi’s output.

Deva Prasnam is seen by the way of worshipping the deities by the astrologer, and the person in whose favour the Deva Prasnam is to perform must have to worship his Kula Devata as well his Ishta Devata, and Saints like Shirdi Saibaba and Guru Raghavendra can also be worshipped. The performer of Deva Prasnam used to mainly worship Ma Shakti Devi, and while performing Deva Prasnam, Tantric and Mantric methods would also be adopted. Some Prasannam Astrologers would observe fasting for certain days in order to predict the Prasnam Astrology of their clients accurately. For those in whose favour Prasnam is to perform, must have to bring puja items which includes flowers, flower garlands, Agarbathies, JapaMalas, Food items consisting of Jaggery, milk and honey. Before performing Prasnam, Abhishekham and Deeparadhana would also be done to the holy Amman, in order to complete the ritual in a full-fledged manner.

Prasnam Astrology is specialised in Kerala, and especially, the Malayalee Nambudris are experts in this Prasnam Astrology. Ancient kings used to rely on the Deva Prasnam during the time of wars. Deva Prasnam would also be seen, for job/marriage/health/family problems. For getting proper results from the Prasnam, one should approach a Kerala Prasnam specialist, since the ancient Prasnam Astrology is believed to have been formed only in Kerala.

The present day people rely on several types of Astrology, in order to get rid from their problems. Whatever effort we may put, but the results would be either positive or negative, based only on the fate written on our head by the god. But anyhow, for our own satisfaction, we can see the Prasnam, since most of us are of the habit, “AEDAI THINNA PITHAM THELIYUM”, which means, searching out for a proper medicine in order to get rid from our problems.
