My bondage with god is very special, since it would be mixed with bhakti, scolding, joyful tears, happiness and many more. Sometimes I used to talk aloud, whereas sometimes I would silently whisper, since it all depends on my mood. I used to scold god at least once in a day, out of my own personal problems, but that scolding would not last for a long time, and mostly it would be like a fighting between a mother and a child. I would express my bhakti by the way of singing, talking and by keeping silent. I consider Guru Raghavendra, the great saint of Mantralayam, as my immediate god, and I used to regularly express my sadness as well as my happiness before his picture.
Whenever we talk with the god and express our problems, we couldn’t find any immediate reaction from the side of the god. But god knows everything about us, and even if we didn’t express anything on our own, he would rescue us from troubles, and would protect us. Patience is the most important thing to be observed with the god, since god used to test the maximum level of patience from us. In the epic Mahabharata, though Duryodana had troubled Pandavas, finally he has also attained the heaven, due to his heroic death in the Kurukshetra war. But if we cause troubles to others, we would never enter into the heaven, but our legs would automatically enter into the path of hell, since the rules and regulations framed by the god during the previous Dwapara Yuga and the present Kali Yuga is entirely different.
My bondage with god happens since from my childhood. I kept great faith on the god from my young age onwards, and until the completion of my college studies, I never used to bow my hands before the god, though I used to circumambulate the temples for so many times. After that only I realised the mistake, and I began to worship the god by bowing my hands before him, like a beggar. We can always beg before the god with a pride on our face, since after all, we are all the servants of the god.
Bhakti must be mixed in our blood itself, and slowly it should reach all of our body organs also, in order to develop staunch faith and devotion on the god. Bhakti cannot be bought from anywhere in the world, but, we must attain bhakti from our soul. For developing Bhakti, we must have been blessed by the god. Lord Krishna considers even his enemies like Kamsa and Sisupala as his devotees, since out of fear and anger on Krishna, they always remembered about Lord Krishna, even during the time of their sleep also.
For our physical and mental sufferings, we cannot blame on the god, but frequently I used to blame him, since I realise the god on my soul, and for getting immediate solutions to my problems, I used to scold him, and after some time, I would realise my mistake, and I would ask apology to him, and I really consider my strange act as a most pleasant act, since it happens between a devotee and the god.
Sometimes, some things, though we cannot accept it, but, we must have to take as such, and we must agree and accept it. A blind man would never get eye sight, even if he worries about the sins committed by him during his past births. Likewise, for certain things, we cannot find answers. When Arjuna asked Lord Krishna during the time of Bhagavat Gita recitation, about the forceful act of committing sins by the humans, Lord Krishna replied to Arjuna, that first people have to control the lust, since lust is the main root cause of sins. And he further told, “Oh my dear Arjuna, don’t get confused, sometimes, we cannot blame the fate, and we cannot also find the cause of our sufferings. In general, you must be a good and a god fearing person, that’s all. Instead of making research work about the nature of creations and the activity of creations, keep thinking about me, me and me only, and rest of the things, would be taken care of by me”.
Sometimes I used to think about the orphaned and handicapped people and I used to worry about them, and during such times, I would also raise certain questions to the god, “Why can’t you stop people from committing sins! If you do like that, then nobody would be born as handicapped and no one would be a parent-less child. But I myself would console by reading the Bhagavat Gita quotes from Lord Krishna. In that nice spiritual guide, Lord Krishna tells to us, “You should lead your life journey as such, and instead of thinking too much about your life, willfully do your duty, and surrender to me, then, rest of the things, I would take care of, since being a “SUPREME GOD”, I only knows better about you!” Hence, in order to keep our mind light, to move to the right path, and to take things easily, let us develop the habit of reading the Bhagavat Gita teachings of Lord Krishna, regularly, since it acts as a great life guide for everyone, irrespective of their caste, creed, gender, community and religion.
My main advice to the readers is to keep on chanting the names of the deities for so many times in a day, and that alone would give very good results in our life. Doing meditation is very good for our mind as well to our body, but it requires lot of patience, and we can be able to practice it only in a step by step manner. But It is always easy to recite the names of the god, and we can also chant the names of our beloved deities, or we can keep reciting the Rama Mantra, Devi Mantra, or otherwise, we can also chant the Prahalada and Dhruva Mantra, “OM SRI BHAKTA PRAHALADAYA NAMAHA”, “OM SRI DHRUVAYA NAMAHA”, since both of them contains the features of Lord Vishnu. We must always keep it in our memory about the golden words written in the pictures of Lord Muruga, “WHY FEAR, WHEN I AM HERE”..
