Sri Marundeeswarar temple is located in the village named Tiruvanmiyur, in the district of Chennai, in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. The chief deity of this temple is Marundeeswarar (Lord Shiva) and his consort is Tiripurasundari. The festival deity of this temple is Thyagarajar.

The temple is open for pilgrims and devotees from 6.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. In this shrine, Lord Vinayaka is largely known as Vigneswara.
