Jyeshta mahina is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the Universe as per the Hinduism, whereas Vaishakh mahina is most auspicious for Vishnu Puja, Kartik mahina is most favorite month for Lord Shiva.

Brahma Puja is the most beneficial ritual of Jyeshta maas. Some devotees also donate a water pot to needy or to Brahmins.

The first 10 days in Shukla Paksha of Jyeshta maas i.e. from Jyeshta Shukla Padyami to Jyeshta Shukla Dashami, it is highly meritorious to perform Ganga Snan. By chanting Ganga Dasapapa hara stuthi, some devotees also take bath in other holy rivers.

Brahmani Puja, Dhumavathi Jayanti, Shukla Devi Puja, Khir Bhavani Mela, Ganga Dussehra, Kamakhya Devi Puja (Ambubachi Mela), and Vata Savitri Puja are the main pujas in the month of Jyeshta. Jyeshta Month 2023 dates as per different Hindu calendars.
