Hariyali Teej in Shravan Month at Banke Bihariji Temple, Vrindavan

Haryali Teej is celebrated in Shravan month with lot of gusto in Banke Bihariji temple, Vrindavan. In 2022, Haryali Teej date is July 31.

In the evening of Haryali Amavasya Teej Lord Bihariji is taken out of Sanctum Sanctorum for very auspicious Jhoolan Yatra. Many special pujas and rituals are done to please Lord Bihariji (Lord Sri Krishna).

Due to Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Haryali Teej 2020 is celebrated with limited number of devotees amidst stringent lockdown rules such as physical distance, etc.

In Shravan month till Haryali Amavasya, for fifteen days in Bihariji temple of Vrindavan, the summer festival called ‘Phool Bangla is celebrated. Phool Bangla is a festival of flowers dedicates to Lord Bihariji in Vrindavan.

On Haryali Amavasya, the festival of grand golden swing, Hindola is started. Hindola is a festival to celebrate the grand golden swing, dedicated to Lord Bihariji.
