Brihaspati met Vayu and both of them took the idol on their hands, and reached the present day Kerala. Their they got the divine vision of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati in a beautiful forest, and after getting the blessings from the divine couple, Guru and Vayu had decided to install the idol in that place.

Brihaspati then called Vishwakarma, the divine architect and asked him to construct a beautiful temple. Vishwakarma constructed the holy temple with full of beauty. Then Vishwakarma, Brihaspati and Vayu installed the idol after performing all the required rituals. All the divine gods assembled there and performed puja to Lord Guruvayurappan.
