Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi Ganapathi idol
“Sri Dwadashaditya Maha Ganapati” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per sources, the idol will have 12-headed snake in the background. The idol will also have 14 arms and 14 Ayudhams (weapons), one each in a hand.
This giant Ganesha will have 12 serpents in the top side and seven 20-feet horses from ground to the mid portion of the idol.
“Sri Saptamukha Vinayakudu” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per sources, the idol will have 7-headed snake in the background. The idol will also have 14 arms and 14 Ayudhams (weapons), one each in a hand.
The Seven-headed mammoth idol will have Srinivasa Kalyanam (the set of celestial marriage of Lord Venkateshwara and Padmavathi Ammavaru) in the left side and Shiva Parvathi in the right side.
“Sri Chandi Kumara Anantha Maha Ganapathi” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per the picture released, it will have ‘Maha Kala Sadashivudu’ at its left side and the scene of ‘Mahishasura Mardhini’ at its right side.

“Sri Shaktipeetha Shiva Nagendra Maha Ganapathi” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per the picture released, it will have Tirumala Tirupati Venkateshwara Swamy at its left side and the scene of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhana Giri in Mahabharata at its right side. The idol will have Shivalinga in the background with Nagendra hooded on Linga. The portrayals of Goddess Saraswati, Lalitatripura Sundari, Nagendra Swamy and Kamadhenu are also play their part in this large Ganesha.
Theme of Khairatabad Ganesh for this year is 59-foot ‘Trishaktimaya Moksha Ganapathi’ with the settings of Goddess Bhadrakali, Lakshmi & Saraswati and Gajendra Moksham episode in either side of the mammoth idol. Read more about this mandal here…

Balapur Ganesh Utsava Samithi ganapathi is the first Ganesh mandal to introduce laddu auction. It is also revered as Aadhi Ganapathi or the leading Ganapathi for immersion procession in Hyderabad city.

Manikanta Bhakata Samajam of Kamalanagar, Chaitanyapuri, has become popular in very short time. Year by year the mandal has been increasing the size of the idol.
This Ganapathi is portrayed as Ganesha in the form of ‘Simhasanarudha Ganapati’, a decorative form of Lord Ganesha who is known for his nature of boon-giver. The Ganapathi Mandal has depicted the Ganesha sitting on Simhasanam and blessing his devotees.
For this year also, Manikanta Bhakata Samajam is coming up with an innovative theme.

Gowlipura Ganesh Pandal is one of the oldest and popular ganesh utsav samithi in Hyderabad. The pandal erected a ganesh idol which is a in the form of Thiruvananthapuram Anantha Padmanabha Swamy idol a couple of years ago.

Sri Balveer Bhakta Samaj in Hussaini Alam, Old City, is probably the oldest Ganesh Pandal in Hyderabad. It is a 112-year old Ganesh mandal with great religious harmony as Muslims organize the pujas and aarti in the morning and evening as well as receive the devotees.
