Lord Brahma
LET’S WELCOME LORD BRAHMADEV TO OUR HOMES
Let’s cheerfully welcome the creator god and our divine mother Lord Brahma and divine mother Ma Saraswati to our homes on all days, since all the days are considered as auspicious for worshipping our dear Lord Brahma Bhagavan.
Lord Brahma is our divine priest, and even in case of our weddings, marriage ceremonies and for other auspicious festivals, we can cordially invite the divine couple, Brahma and Saraswati to our homes, in order to perform our ceremonies in fantastic manner. Whenever I come out from my flat, I would be able to see the temple tower of Shiva Temple, and in that, I would be able to easily view the image of Lord Brahma who would be seen in the form of blessing posture, and, we could also see the image of Ma Saraswati who would be seen keep smiling, by showering her divine grace on us. While we keep worshipping other gods like Vishnu, Shiva, Muruga and Vinayaka, we ignore to worship Lord Brahma due to our own negligence, by thinking that other gods are superior to Lord Brahma. Actually, it is not like that! Lord Brahma is our true parent, since only through him we are all being created and brought into this world.
Lord Brahma has got the capacity to lift the entire universe on his shoulders, but since he is restricted to do only creation work, he takes care of only that work. During the times of dangers, similar to reciting the word, MA, mother, for help, we can also recite the word, Oh My dear mother Brahma Deva, please help me, like that. Most of us are not giving much importance to Lord Brahma Deva, by considering him only as a demi-god, but actually he is one of the chief gods, like Shiva and Vishnu. Before few years ago, while I was visiting a Shiva Temple along with my friends, I asked one of my friends to worship the shrine of Lord Brahma, and at that time, he answered to me, with a smile, “Don’t you know, Lord Brahma Deva has got only few temples in the world, and that’s why I didn’t want to worship him”.
Then, I have told about the significance of Lord Brahma Deva and made him to worship him sincerely.
According to me, Lord Brahma Deva must be first worshipped even before worshipping our own father and mother, since only through his grace we were able to take birth from the womb of our mother. The life time of Lord Brahma is so long, and he enjoys lot of spiritual pleasures from his Loka, since he used to continuously mediate his father, Lord Vishnu.
Similar to the construction of temples for other deities like Shiva, Vishnu, Shakti, Muruga and Vinayaka, it is our main duty to construct temples for Lord Brahma also, at least in a small size.
Hence let us cheerfully visit Lord Brahma and Ma Saraswati to our homes daily, daily by chanting the following mantra:
“OM SRI BRAHMASARASWAT DEVAYA NAMAHA”
