Balambika is an aspect of Ma Shakti Devi and she is considered to be a Child Goddess, who is famously worshipped by Shakti Devotees throughout the world.
Balambika’s appearance was mentioned in the holy text which is known as Sri Balambika Dasakam. She contains four arms and looks like a small divine girl. She holds the Holy Vedas on one hand, and the sacred Mala also known as Japa Mala on her another hand. Balambika gives good knowledge, courage, bravery and all sorts of goodness to us. Being a child goddess, she is worshipped mainly by the young girl children, and some children would also affectionately offer sweets items on their own hands, by considering her to be one of their friends.

“AiymKleem Sow. Sow, Kleem, Aiym. Aiym, Kleem, Sow.”
“Aiym” stands for best education and improvement in learning capacity.
“Kleem” stands for utmost devotion and great attachment and attraction towards the wonderful child goddess.
“Sow” stands for attaining great prosperity in our lives.
By chanting this powerful Balambika Mantra, we would be able to get good solution to all of our problems.It is also believed that while chanting this great Mantra, we could hear the presence of Ma Balambika around us. Even by uttering the single word, “Bala,” it is believed that, she would shower her utmost blessings on us.
There is a marvellous temple for Ma Balambika located in Kamarasavalli village in Tamil Nadu. This temple is an ancient temple, and it is more than 2000 years old. We can see the beautiful wall inscriptions of the powerful and popular snake deity Karkodga performing Shiva Puja, and we can also find the wall inscriptions of Lord Vinayaka and Nandikeswarar in the temple. Festivals like Tamil New Year Day, Vinayaka Chathurti, Navaratri and Shivaratri are grandly celebrated at this temple.
During festival times, people from all over Tamil Nadu used to visit this wonderful temple of Ma Bala Tripura Sundari, who was believed to have been appeared before Sri ChandraSekhara Saraswati Swamigal of Kanchi Mutt, for several times during his life time, in the form of a young girl, in order to shower her abundant blessings on the great saint, Sri Kanchi Paramacharya.
