With the auspicious Varalakshmi Vratam left with just a couple of days to go, TTD has made elaborate arrangements to ensure that every devotee receives the divine blessings under the Sowbhagyam program at Tiruchanoor temple.
Focus is to ensure that devotees have a comfortable darshan of the presiding deity of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru.
The temple authorities have made the following arrangements in connection with this fete which is scheduled on Friday.
Laying special Queue lines
Providing Annaprasadam and drinking water facilities
Impressive illumination and flower decorations
Special focus on cleanliness and sanitation
Varalakshmi Vratham from 10 am to 12 noon in the Asthan Mandapam
LED screens arranged around the temple for the devotees to watch the Varalakshmi Vratham and live broadcast through SVBC
In the evening, the processional deity of Goddess Sri Padmavati will parade along the mada streets encircling the shrine on a golden chariot
Besides, on the auspicious occasion of Varalakshmi Vratham on Friday, the divine materials including Akshatas, Pasupu Darams, Kankanams, Sri Lakshmi Astottara Sata Namavali Book, Kumkuma and Bangles will be distributed to the women devotees in all the 51 TTD local temples located in both the Telugu states under Sowbhagyam program.
The officers and staff of the respective temples are supervising the arrangements.

తిరుచానూరులో వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతానికి విస్తృత ఏర్పాట్లు
టీటీడీ ఆలయాల్లో ‘సౌభాగ్యం’ కార్యక్రమం
ఆగస్టు 8వ తేది వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని తిరుచానూరులోని శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి ఆలయంలో టీటీడీ ప్రత్యేక ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టింది.
భక్తులు అమ్మవారి దర్శనాన్ని సౌకర్యవంతంగా పొందేందుకు ఆలయ అధికారులు విస్తృత ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా తిరుచానూరు ఆలయం పరిధిలో ప్రత్యేక క్యూ లైన్లు, భక్తులకు అన్నప్రసాదం, తాగునీటి సరఫరా, శోభాయమానంగా విద్యుద్దీపాల అలంకరణలు, పుష్పాలంకరణ, పారిశుద్ధ్య చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ఉదయం 10 నుండి 12 గంటల వరకు ఆస్థాన మండపంలో వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతం నిర్వహించబడుతుంది. భక్తులు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని వీక్షించేందుకు ఆలయం పరిధిలో ఎల్ఈడి స్క్రీన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయడంతో పాటు ఎస్వీబీసీ ద్వారా ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారాలు అందించనున్నారు.
అదే రోజు సాయంత్రం అమ్మవారు స్వర్ణరథంపై మాడ వీధులలో విహరిస్తారు. ఈ శోభాయాత్ర భక్తులను కనువిందు చేయనుంది.
టిటిడి ఆలయాల్లో సౌభాగ్యం:
మహిళా భక్తులకు ‘సౌభాగ్యం’ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా అమ్మవారి అనుగ్రహం అందేలా చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.
అదేవిధంగా, రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లోని 51 టీటీడీ స్థానిక ఆలయాల్లో నిర్వహించే ‘సౌభాగ్యం’ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా మహిళా భక్తులకు అక్షింతలు, పసుపు దారాలు, కుంకుమ, కంకణాలు, శ్రీలక్ష్మీ అష్టోత్తర శతనామావళి పుస్తకం, గాజులు వంటి పవిత్ర సామగ్రిని పంపిణీ చేయనున్నారు.
టీటీడీ ఆలయాల్లో సదరు అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది ఈ ఏర్పాట్లను పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నారు.
