Vivah Panchami is a festival on which the marriage of Lord Ram and Sita, Sitarama Vivaha, is celebrated. In 2025, Vivah Panchami date is November 25.
It falls on fifth day in Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha Month. It is mainly celebrated in Mithilanchal region and some other parts of North India.
In Janakpur of Nepal, Vivah Panchami is celebrated with utmost fervor as the town is believed as the birth place of Goddess Sita. Thousands of devotees visit the place from India and worship Sita and Ram on Vivah Panchami festival.
